Goodwood Festival of Speed

After 7 participations to the Goodwood Festival of Speed as a competitor on the Hill Climb I was pleased to exhibit this year, a friend's car at the "Cartier de Luxe and Style" exhibition.
This amazing Jaguar is one of the only 2 "Supersonic" in existence, this one from 1955 has been ordered by the MGM from the French importer in 1954 to be used in France by Lana Turner.
For some reason the car was not used by the famous actress and participated for two years, in the most prestigious Concours d'Elegance in France.
Into the same hands since more than 30 years this major piece only covered 4000km from new and still retains its original and beautiful interior.
Though it was a bit fustrating not to race on the hill climb... it was a fabulous week end !
