Description
This fabulous Monza SP2 has been beautifully configured with the Iconic Rosso Corsa body color along with the Italian flag center stripe. To complement this, the interior is in brown leather and this combination wonderfully evokes the famous Barchettas from the 50's.
It was delivered new in France and has had a second owner in Luxembourg from 2021. It has been enjoyed very sparingly by its two owners, having covered a total of only 1,129 km in the dry.
The car is in as new condition, having been equipped with a full body protection film and consequently is completely free of any stone chips. The service schedule is up to date, with the last one completed in September 2023 by Ferrari Luxembourg.

Model history
At the end of the noughties, Ferrari desired to breathe a new style and approach into its premium range. To do so Ferrari announced in 2018 the « Icona » program which would be reserved for its VIP customers and subsequently launched the Monza.
This is a fabulous « Barchetta » type car based on the 812 Superfast, echoing the famous Ferrari Endurance cars such as the166MM, 750 Monza and 250 Testarossa. Indeed from 1949 to 1962, they won the Le Mans 24 Hours six times and this significantly helped to establish Ferrari as the most fascinating and iconic car manufacturer.
The Monza actually introduced a new era for Ferrari, firstly as being the car that initiated the new « Icona » program and secondly because it celebrates the return to a purer style which gave a new direction for the production cars. It provided the inspiration for the new Roma for instance.
Available as a single or double seater, respectively named SP1 and SP2, they were all ordered as « One Off » cars which means the lucky owner was free to configure the car with Ferrari’s « Atelier » department. Only 499 examples were built between 2019 and 2020.
Designed by Ferrari’s styling department under the supervision of Flavio Manzoni, the Monza won many design prizes.
On top of having sculptural lines, the Monza is a fabulously fast machine capable of reaching 200 km/h in only 7.9 seconds thanks to its monumental V12 810 HP engine. With its weight pared down to 1500kg, it is a fantastic driver with a precise chassis and an immense reserve of power. To drive such an open topped supercar on the road is a very unique sensation delivered with an unparalleled sound track.
Without a shadow of doubt the Monza will remain one of the most exciting and significant Ferraris ever built.
