Description
This late production car was sold new to the Emirates and later exported to Switzerland for a prominent collector.
It was ordered new by a discerning connoisseur in a stunning combination of a blue body over a beige and blue interior, which suits the car superbly.
Soon after delivery, the owner probably irritated by the Touchtronic gearbox sent the car back to Aston Martin to be converted to the excellent manual gearbox.
The current mileage stands at 14,700 km and the very least one can say is that the greatest care has been lavished on the car. Indeed, when new it received a full covering with a protective film, including the windscreen. The film is still in place on the car, which means the car’s bodywork is still in immaculate « as new » condition underneath.
It is also important to note that it never suffered any dents, scratches or repaints.
It recently went to Aston Martin Luxembourg to receive a complete service and a 140 points check up. It was recently imported an registered in Luxembourg with all duties paid.
This is a remarkable car in many ways with its superb configuration, immaculate condition and one of the very rare Vanquish S’s to be fitted with the highly regarded manual gearbox.
This particular car is a rare opportunity to acquire what is very likely one of the most desirable Aston Martins from the 2000’s.
NB : The cars qualifies for 17% VAT in Luxemboug and can be exported ex. VAT.
Model history
The Aston Martin Vanquish S made its debut in 2004 and was an evolution of the very advanced and sculptural yet imperfect 2001 Vanquish.
The build quality and the car’s handling were enhanced significantly. The major improvements included a better chassis, bigger brakes, more direct steering, beautiful 19 inch rims and a power increase to 520 HP.
All of this made the Vanquish S a much more desirable machine compared to its predecessor. This is also a very rare Aston Martin as only 1086 cars were built from inception until 2007.
